I am old enough to remember John Sununu

John Sununu was the elder Bush's chief of staff and a putrid human being. He also lived like a majaraja with the government picking up the tab.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_H._Sununu

As White House Chief of Staff, Sununu reportedly took personal trips, for skiing and other purposes, and classified them as official, for purposes such as conservation or promoting the Thousand Points of Light.[17] The Washington Post wrote that Sununu's jets "took him to fat-cat Republican fund-raisers, ski lodges, golf resorts and even his dentist in Boston."[17] Sununu had paid the government only $892 for his more than $615,000 worth of military jet travel.[18] Sununu said that his use of the jets was necessary because he had to be near a telephone at all times for reasons of national security.[19] Sununu became the subject of much late-night television humor over the incident.[17] Sununu worsened the situation shortly afterwards when, after leaking rumors of financial difficulties in his family, he traveled to a rare stamp auction at Christie's auction house in New York City from Washington in a government limousine, spending $5,000 on rare stamps.[20] Sununu then sent the car and driver back to Washington unoccupied while he returned on a corporate jet.[20] In the course of one week, 45 newspapers ran editorials on Sununu, nearly all of them critical of his actions.[21]

Sununu repaid over $47,000 to the government for the flights on the orders of White House counsel C. Boyden Gray, with the help of the Republican Party.[22] However, the reimbursements were at commercial rates, which are about one-tenth the cost of the actual flights; one ski trip to Vail, Colorado alone had cost taxpayers $86,330.[23]

You see Sununu was quite the little welfare queen back in his day.

trying to rejuvenate himself, and romney has no problems with him. Can romney make any other lousy decisions? Jeeze, he doesn't know people at all, foes or fellows.

feel that way about Bat Puchanon or Bob Novak. Those guys were dicks too but at least they had a little fun at it. You could see the other people on the show at least liking them some.

In fact, there's a great story about Senator Kennedy slapping him down (almost literally) during a meeting at the White House. Sununu threw one of his usual fits and yelled at one of Kennedy's staff, and Kennedy got right up into Sununu's face and said, "You want to yell at somebody, yell at me! You don't abuse my staff" or words to that effect. Like all bullies, Sununu backed down and was silent for the rest of the meeting.

Sununu had quite the reputation for bullying his staff and anyone else with less power. A real jerk, in other words.

One more reason to make sure R-Money doesn't win or steal this election.

back as child as POTUS has said children seem to know a "BULLSHITTER", was the pre-eminent feeling I got from him(John Sunnunu).I was actually forced to shake his hand because I wouldn't have done it otherwise. I at the time would rather have shook hands with "Lucifer" himself. Again I was 9OR 10.
Now to here this money laundering scheming son of a bitch(yes I mean female dog) talk racists shit about our President, makes me long for the day....to be in the ( 40yr old adult conscious mind) I have now, to have a chance to break...sorry I mean shake that fat piece of shits hand again.

What you see is what you get. Charles Dickens would have loved to have a character like him for his novels.
