Did AOL turn into a REAL news channel?

I never go there but for some reason it was on my screen this a.m.
These are the top three headlines:

Republicans Filibuster Everything, Romney Blames Obama For Not Working With Congress

For Romney, Wisconsin Becoming the Path Around Ohio

Colin Powell's Former Chief of Staff: My Party Is Full Of Racists

I'd give link but don't know how with a Smartphone

and Fox, et al. are just as bad for fanning the flames. One of the SEALS' fathers has been convinced by watching their coverage that the President and his admin just stood around, watching them die in real time because of this BS.

Huffington Post posts many left leaning articles but it has degenerated into Political/Skinfest hybrid. If you look at the HP main page, it's literally divided down the middle, one side politics, the other crass celebrity garbage. It's like their penis is at war with their brain over there.

If you want 'real" news you might try this:

They just link to Huffpost stories and headlines.
Drop down menu lets you chose whose headlines they show.
Not their news, jump site to real news sites.

So I guess AOL still exists, and it is still for the lazy.

I have never abandoned my email there. It's like an address. And easy to type.

I like the vapid stories they post. And Huffpo's feature writing doesn't bother me as long as I get real news here. It's like DUs lounge with pics.
