to unveil special Pictorial Cancellation STAMP and ENVELOPE.

40TH Anniversary of American Graffiti

(Omaha, NE) – Omaha Postmaster, Keith Reid and world renowned Celebrity Artist, Nicolosi along with Omaha Mayor Jim Suttle with special quests Cindy Williams and Eddie Mekka will unveil the Pictorial Cancellation Stamp and Commemorative Envelope created by Nicolosi at the Mayor’s office on November 2, 2012, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of American Graffiti.

Designed by Nicolosi to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the classic American Graffiti, the Commemorative is an artistic representation of the film. Nicolosi was commissioned by the USPS to design this Pictorial Cancellation Stamp. The Commemoratives designed by Nicolosi and autographed by Cindy Williams, Eddie Mekka and Nicolosi, will be available for purchase at event.

Keith Reid, Omaha’s Postmaster has authorized a special Pictorial Cancellation Stamp and Commemorative Envelope in honor of the event to be held November 2, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. at Joslyn Art Museum located at 2200 Dodge St.

Omaha film historian Bruce Crawford who is responsible for a special showing of film later in the evening will introduce special quests Nicolosi and Cindy Williams, known for her role as Ron Howard’s girlfriend in the movie and for a spinoff of Howard’s “Happy Days” sitcom, “Laverne & Shirley.”
