Steven Leser The CIA gave more warnings than that to Bush and his national sec team about 9/11. Clinton and the transition team warned the Bush team to not take their eyes off the ball re: Al Qaeda. And as we all know over 2500 Americans died in downtown NYC.

Now, 4 Americans died in what they knew was a dangerous assignment and NOW republicans feel the need to hold someone responsible?

Stephen, Please no one is comparing Bush to Obama. No one in the World Towers Called for Help and were denied help! The President and all of America were there to do what they could on 911. My statement applies to Supporting our military as they Fight for us. The terrorists on 911 killed themselves in that plane, in Benghazi they killed our people and celebrated it.

For years the America people had 3 primary sources for news ,CBS, ABC and NBC. Jen you were a baby then! The slant was Primarily biased by Liberals, this is common knowledge. Steve, Condi Rice admitted in a hearing on 9/11 that she received three separate warnings including one that specifically said Al Qaeda intended to use airplanes as weapons. The head of the CIA warned her so many times that he annoyed her and she had him thrown out of her office. 2500 people died. You know what? We Democrats almost universally said, OK, you know what, in terms of warning and intelligence, no one can predict for sure what is going to happen, its possible to make mistakes, lets put country first and not go about attacking Bush for his 9/11 failures.

Story, just sent.... Anyway there was no protocol for dealing with something of that magnitude let alone forecasting WHEN this so called (911) so you have no point and really isn't relative o this situation. Fact is someone from the White House had to have ,are the decision either way. It was noon in DC...everyone was up and very aware as to what was going on.

No forcasting? There was nine months of warnings. Al Qaeda had attacked the US Cole and bombed the US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania among various other acts.

Now, really comparing the situation apples to apples...Mayor Guiliani responded as best as anyone could have during 911...and Bush did too. Not sure exactly the time but I believe w/in 2 month we were already in Afghanastan. So, in 2001 the US reacted appropriately and decidedly.
