Was listening to Brad Friedman last night

who was subbing for Mike Malloy. He was discussing the possibility of voters who are in areas hit by Sandy being unable to vote electronically due to power outages. Does anybody know if there are contingencies in place if this occurs? This seems worrisome, to say the least.

Yes....the contingency is to do it the old fashioned way. Paper ballots will be used in that case. It would require more time but voters have the right to vote by any means possible. I read about this yesterday and sorry I don't have the link but it makes total sense don't you think?
