My old mother used to say that a man grows into the Presidency and rises to the office -- she was referring to Truman, I believe -- but Dubya never, ever did.

Barack Obama was ready from Day One to grow into that kind of stature, and those with eyes to see can certainly see it.

Didn't Christie make a point of saying that the president had talked to him PERSONALLY, twice?

Mitt would be stupid enough to fob off Christie to some intern.

Let's face it. Christy wants a shot at 2016. Republican, Democrat, I don't think it would matter to him.
On the other hand, could the fat man just be doing his job?
Could he simply be trying to get help for the people who elected him? Even if it requires some humility.
We might be seing something we have not seen for a long time.
A sane republican!
I will admit to considerable susprise.
Still..
Leporads have been known to change their stripes.
We shall see.
