There should be room for her personality in journalism.

I hear her voice all the time doing promos on the Foodnetwork

Heard her on Lawrence (Last Word) a couple nights ago; same snip on the Sandy fundraiser on NBC last night - she was in Staten Island where the folks have been (or were initially) largely overlooked in the relief effort.

There was a substantive, long piece from the community member, which I appreciated (the length of...allowing the community member to speak her piece), then Ann's brief and incisive reporting.

I thought it was good ... FWIW!

disaster areas around the world. She is NBC's compassionate representative.
After the earthquake in Haiti, the whole lot of them went. I guess it was a big enough story.

I like her and she definitely sends stories that need attention.
