Freepers getting giddy over outdated poll showing Romney up 4 in PA

They are going crazy over a mention of a poll that turns out to be an 3 week old outlier. The few who chime in and point out the discrepancy are immediately branded as trolls. Man, when reality strikes on Tuesday, there will be some pissed off people on the right.

While I hope President Obama kicks major ass next week...there's a little corner in me that would love to see the results real tight with the President squeaking out one win after another. Let the unhinged get giddy with dreams of big victories early in the even turn to absolute crushing defeats in a few short hours. They've set themselves up for this kind of a fall...and the ny schadenfaude will be the payoff.

I find it interesting in these final days that the unhinged need skewed polls and manufactured "scandals" to maintain their enthusiasm. They have to maintain the poutrage and maybe fatigue and reality is starting to set in. Just like a child who gets giddy when they're over tired the penchulant children on the right will first run themselves in circles for a while, throw the tantrum and then cry themselves to sleep...

The teeth-gnashing press hungrily tried to make PA a "swing state" yet again at the beginning of this election season despite 5 FAILS for Presidential elections where it wasn't, and they finally had to drop it... only to stupidly revive it again the past week or so as their Custer's last stand.

The reality is that as of 2008, there were 1.2 million MORE registered Democrats than rethugs (and it may be even higher with the latest registration drives). And even if you lose a chunk of Dems - perhaps up around the Lehigh Valley area that had storm damage, the rural areas in Pennsyltucky that the media has ignored, should have had a tougher time with both the voter ID mess and the storm.

PA's tighter than it should be, but it's still not quite a purple state.

Out of all the "swing states", Romney will probably win only Florida, North Carolina, and Colorado (where the voter suppression efforts are pretty strong). When you do the electoral math, that means a 294-244 victory for Obama. Not quite 300 EVs, but good enough.

It's a shame, really. Until Obama vomited on-stage in the first debate, we had a chance of flipping the House. It's spilt milk, but the history books are going to make a bigger deal out of that night than the voters will.
