taking my daughter to cast her ballot for the FIRST time. She is HAPPY for me to reveal in the exit poll that she chose President Obama!!!!!
But what I want to say is I have been voting since President Jimmy Carter. I voted in 2000,I voted 2008. I voted 2010. But may I say that I am no meteorologist, But we have a STORM brewing in the Mid-West!!!!!!!!!!!!!America its name is TEAM OBAMA!!!!!!!They are out in massive numbers at the Early Voting Sites. The line at Wayne County Community College going into the Parking lot looked like the line in New Jersey as people wait for gas. There is no lack of ENTHUSIASM here. The polls opened at 9:00 am and before 10:00 am there were approximately 500 people waiting to cast their ballot!!!!!! I asked the poll worker were the crowds like this during the days of Early Voting and she said yes and on some days it was more. She also expected it to be a day when they would service twice as many as their previous days. And are expecting a 3 hour wait on Election Day!!!!!!! I wouldn't take pictures of voters or their cars because I did not know who may have been threatened with their JOB. It was a Beautiful sight. So many people there before the polls even opened!!!!!Get Ready for STORM TEAM OBAMA damage assessment. The Republicans are going to need Government help from FEMA in the aftermath. There will be those who will lose it. This is going to be massive. I see this being bigger than 2008!!!! Team Obama is holding on to some pretty big numbers despite what you hear on Media Outlets. Keep working EVERYBODY!!! It's Working I can SEE IT!!!!!This is DIFFERENT!!!!!!!

(22,163 posts)but of course it will be a long day regardless of how many people show up. The Rep. outnumber us 3:1 in registrations here. I will be anxious to get home and get some news!!

(28,811 posts)and 3 to 1 republicans?
maybe they'll vote for Obama anyway...if they've been paying attention during the campaign and care about at least a little integrity in a candidate.

(27,315 posts)My son voted by absentee ballot last week. He had already voted in the fall of 2010, but it is the first time he casts a ballot for president and he was really excited to vote for Obama. But we are in MA, and Romney is really disliked here (I was in Romney's hometown yesterday and most yard signs I saw were for Obama and Warren).
