Today I've been told I shouldn't be watching CNN or MSNBC and should cancel my Washington Post subscription (complaints about the Times go without saying...). While I understand some people don't like they way stories get reported, I get the sense that some people only want to here from writers and correspondents who agree with them. So who will you accept a non-supportive message from?

(102,357 posts)or poor take on an issue will eliminate all perspective. If it is tv, is the reporting the same during the day as at night? Reporting does get updated and more experienced people tend to take over in prime time.
Read multiple sources that have a history of reliability. And take the occasional miscue in stride--especially from a new reporter on a "beat."

All most right wing media does is attack people who don't agree with them and that's when they're not rattling off insane conspiracy theories. And I don't have any desire to listen to "the other side" when it comes to some topics like LGBTQ issues because so much of it is misinformed and ignorant.
