Large, somewhat confusing initial meeting. I was assigned to a fairly low-income area. I wore an EP shirt and handed everyone coming in a piece of paper explaining their rights as a voter, and told them that if they had problems they should come talk to me. I had the #'s of lawyers to call. I had 3 issues that we were able to be resolved quickly.

The really fun part was the night prior to the election when we were all standing around at Central and Carlisle at the headquarters. Someone handed me a pumpkin and had me stand in a row..... Leonardo DiCaprio suddenly appeared at my side and extolled the importance of this race .... I was in awe.

I just wish we had someone locally here in King County, WA that would fight for our right to vote. My angry phone calls still haven't gotten me a ballot yet.

I don't know if it is Washington State specific, but it is from the Washington State Democratic Voter Protection site.
