It's apparent they were made by the same person--same handwriting, same size cardboard, paint colors the exact same from one sign to the next...this faux sense that some idiot went out to their garage and slapped together a sign with a piece of cardboard from the kids' school project and some old acrylic paint from Junior's paintbox is just absurd...particularly when no one can bring any personal gear into the venue with them.

The Romulan one, though...it looks different from the rest. Different color ink, certainly. Did someone write on the back of one of those generic signs? It's not a photoshop, if it's straight from ABC--unless someone is having a laugh...!

But think about these people, they actually like to think of themselves as thugs.

After all, isn't there some tenet of Mormonism that has them coming from another planet? Perhaps the sign-holder was riffing on that theme?

Did Kid Rock turn up at that little Mittfest? It could be a snarking fan...

Could be a Kid Rock fan who doesn't even necessarily CARE about politics but has a sense of humor.

Not much of a stretch to go from Rom-ney to Rom-ulan.

Interesting that all the signs in this pic seem to have been made by the same person. They are all basically the same style.

....he's not trying to fake grassroots support. Also, look at the old guy in the front. It looks like his sign has letters smeared off like they are vinyl and can be reused. BTW: Who would make up a sign that says "Farmers for Mitt" or "Veterans for Romney"?
