Divine Intervention and Legitimate Rape

The GOP puntsters are blaming Hurricane Sandy and Chris Christie for breaking Romney's momentum and causing him to lose the election.

Two weeks ago, Romney asked Billy Graham for his prayers and those of his followers.

Three weeks ago, Evangelicals organized a weekend of prayer for Romney's election.

Four weeks ago, the Mormons organized a day of prayer for Romney's election.

This weekend, Catholic bishops ordered their letter against Obama read from the pulpit at all masses.

When Obama wins on Tuesday, these zealots will have to admit that their prayers to their "god" were ignored.

But their god had other plans.

Their god ordained that Romney would lose and they now have to chalk it up to Divine Intervention or to those "mysterious ways".

Maybe it was simply a legitimate rape of the GOP by the Dems!
