Maybe voter outrage will finally erupt after the scenes of long lines today!!

There ought to be unanimous outrage across the country at the tactics being used by GOP governors to keep Democrats from voting. At age 73, and with back problems, I would be unable to stand for five hours!

all they have to do is vote Democrats into power. See, simple.

I know it sounds like I'm being a jerk, but I don't mean it that way.

This is not happening in GOP counties---just in Democratic counties. I still say, there ought to be outrage, even by the Republicans, as this is not the 'American way'. Or----the 'American way' of my youth!

In Ohio in 2004 my family members reported numerous problems with voting in Democratic precincts. Some of the tactics were as low-tech as providing only two voting machines per 4,000 voters in Democratic precincts, while there were dozens of machines per thousand voters in Republican-leaning precincts. And there was probable outright vote count fraud as well. Why were they able to do this in Ohio in 2004? Republican Secretary of State. Why did the voters of Ohio vote in another Republican governor and Republican Secretary of State in 2010? Was it voter manipulation or just frustrating "centrism" on the part of Ohio voters? Whatever the reason, we have the same problem again!

that is why is did an absentee vote. It was easy. I went online and filled out the application for absentee ballot. I received it in the mail, filled it out and dropped it in the mail. No standing in line.

My objection is that these governors have no problem in causing massive inconvenience to their constituents. It's harassment, plain and simple!

Early voting in the state has been reduced from the five weekends before the election to only the weekend right before Election Day. This is wrong!!

except claim "outrage". If this happened to the teabaggers there would have been assaults, threats, gun-waving, and 1200 radio stations egging them on. Your OP and a few like it will be the entire pushback from our side. That's why we never get what we want, and the terrorists have taken over the country.

I have to ask---what does it take to motivate our side? I wish my anger could figure out a better response.
