Why Should Fox "New" be allowed to "call" the Presidential race?

They are truly NOT a real news organization. Period. But they're allowed to "call" the election races? Why not let the 700 Club call them, too?

I saw an article on when they would call the races, and I thought.. wtf? Why does the rest of the media give them any credence? Especially in LIGHT of the Florida 2000 theft where Bush's COUSIN called Florida for Bush, THEN they successfully sued in the Supreme Court based on "equal protection" because Bush believed that he was the President (because of Fox's call,) and it would harm him if they took it away.

So why does Fox get a seat at this game???

It's not something you need permission to do, and it's not something that carries the least bit of weight. Thinking otherwise about either of those is exceedingly silly.

Same for Inside Edition, Hard Copy, or Jerry Springer, all similar to Fox.

when you decided who can and cant call the election.

Mark Cuban's HDNET, now called Access, has election coverage with Dan Rather but its not a news organization. Are you saying that Dan Rather shouldnt be allowed to call the election either?

their own calling.

But NBC does its own calling, as does ABC, CBS, CNN, etc.

They can call a horse a cow. That does not make it so. They don't get to decide. That's done elsewhere.
