Wednesday Morning:

Well, it's finally over.
Obama wins in a landslide, like we (most of us) thought.
Nate Silver signs a multi-million dollar contract as a regular contributor at MSNBC.
My email in box is suddenly bereft of various and sundry Democratic organizations pleading for just 5, or 8 or 7 more dollars to combat last minute surges in repug spending.

The senate now enjoys a 61 Democratic majority.
Including Senator Elizabeth Warren.
Independent (Democratic-Socialist) Bernie Sanders will continue to caucus with the Democrats.

Teabaggers lost big time in the house.
Bachmann was one of the most notable casualties.

It's a beautiful morning.
Blue skies.
Birds singing.
Happy Days Are Here Again.

cleaning up after the large victory party scheduled at my house Tuesday evening/night/early Wednesday morning.

Glad I'm retired. I won't have to get up early. All the designated driving will have tired me out.
