They need to give Joy Reid her own show on MSNBC

I don't remember seeing much of her except in the last month or so and now she is on everyone's show.

And for good reason.

She's smart, she's a wonk with something to add to the conversation.

I've been pretty disappointed by Malissa Harris Perry's show and don't watch it much anymore. I like MHP but liked her more on other shows. He show seems to be too much of a one note. I suppose I'm glad that all voices have a show but I'm not as interested in her issues as I am in a wider range of issues.

Joy is better. Maybe with just a tad less lip gloss.

and it's good but I agree about the gloss!

I'm thinking: to get a show you have to have connections to possible guests and to sources, that seems to be the trick to it.

I don't watch MHP very often. I just don't find her show interesting and her up-and-down voice grates on my nerves. I do enjoy her as a guest, though. And her "letters" (editorials) that she delivers at the end of her show are just amazing. I usually try to catch the end of her shows just to hear those.

I find myself wishing they would ask her more questions and let her expound. She's incredibly smart.

I also think she's very gracious and she's got a fantastic smile.

I'm not crazy on lip gloss on anyone. A little shine is OK, but gloss is too much. Especially if their teeth are very white. To me it looks like they have spit lines hanging from their teeth. I know they don't, but it looks like they do on TV.

She's brilliant and funny! I would like MSNBC to give her the earlier Hardball timeslot and give Chris Matthews only one hour, OR take Mrs. Greenspan off completely!!!

brilliant folks whom I'd never heard of before. Guests like Prof. Dorian Warren, Atty. Raul Reyes, Dr. Anthea Butler, and Prof. Kenji Yoshino, all brilliant people whom I would never have heard of, had it not been for MHP. Her show looks like America, and strips away certain stereotypes. I love her show, and she seems to have moderated her caffeine lately.

If you're only interested in politics per se, then MHP is not for you. She discusses a wide array of important topics, outside the realm of politics.
