The ONLY way they can win is to steal it.

And they have already started laying the groundwork. Voter suppression is rampant, especially in OH and FL. They have already begun adding and subtracting votes. And the OH SoS has installed untested "man in the middle" software in 39 counties.

BUT, they need the vote close or at least for the voters to THINK it's close, so the voters won't recognize the steal. Hence all the "positive Mitt" spin on Fox and RW websites. As for the other MSM outlets, I think they're just trying to make the race more "interesting" in order to garner better ratings and more ad sales. But, the RW is taking advantage of it.

I applaud the Obama Team's efforts to send out a team of lawyers to watch the polls. But if the steal occurs after the votes are cast (as with man in the middle software), there is little they can do unless the steal is obvious.

Therefore, if we have a better GOTV and we push the ACTUAL polls showing an Obama win, it will keep them from pulling the trigger and stealing - because they don't want to get caught.

Nate Silver is a good example - his unbiased results are showing a >85% chance for an Obama win. But they have already begun to try and discredit him and his results. We need to stop this.

Look at 2004. We know it was stolen. But even as the exit polls indicated a Kerry win, it was close enough that as the "official" (stolen) results started coming in, the pollsters rushed to explain their "inaccurate results" and adjusted their figures to try and match the incorrect results. But in 2008, Obama won in a landslide and so they couldn't adjust the results - because they knew no one would buy it and they would be exposed.

So we know that if the threat of exposure is strong enough, they will not "pull the trigger". That is what we need to strive for in this election.

To sum up - if we can win the message war with Independents (RW is a lost cause, I'm afraid), they won't even try to steal it.

for a Mormon in the repuk party. Obama has too many lawyers watching and unlike 2004 the DOJ is in our hands this time. Sure some may try but if we flood the zone with voters they can not steal it this time.

Plus, I'd hope that the same people that have stood in line for hours to vote will stand in line for hours to protest and demand the votes be counted/recounted

All this stolen election stuff is just concern crap.

This Repuke voter crap happens every election. It is not going to turn a national election this year. Nope hope for the bad guys.

Thanks for your post.

And of course I've been GOTVing. And so have thousands of others. President Obama and his team have an incredible ground game going, of the likes that Mittster could not dream. People lining up to early vote all over the country.

New registrations are through the roof. Many thousands at every campaign appearance.

Did I mention an unstoppable ground game? Not to mention a legal team at ground zero across the country observing the process every step of the way.

No election stealing this time.

You'll see Tuesday night.

--tell that to all the people out there working to fight against it right now...they wouldn't be fighting if they didn't have real cause for concern. Anybody who's worked in elections will tell you--it's done ALL the time, one way or the other.

Do you really think they stop at overt suppression? Naive and way too trusting

Why should we have to put up with a sham of a system? Don't you want voting to be transparent and protected?
