I just want this election to be DONE

I don't know what it is but I'm exhausted. I have been doing elections now since college (which was um awhile back) and I have never found an election that was just so wretchedly horrible.

I mean I understand there is always an opponent whose viewpoints probably differs from mine but I have never seen the lying by one candidate get so AWFUL!

I've seen alot of bullshit in elections and from both sides of the party. But I have never seen a candidate so blatantly dishonest and I do remember when Nixon was president. (Never volunteered for Nixon - too young).

I just can't see this getting any better and it amazes me to this day that people can buy into this bullshit and lies! I just hope after Nov 6th I never see Mitt or Ann Romney or any of the Romney kids ever again

Honestly, I can respect convictions, even when they collide with my own, if they stand for something and don't take away or deny rights. But the rage and lack of ability to think past talking points coupled with the endless stoking of anxiety fires on both sides of the media and aisle have just plain worn me out. I need a while in my own life, and plan to take it in about two days.

I am EXHAUSTED ! I have been campaigning for Obama for 6 years - non-stop - literally. I can't wait until Tuesday night when Obama wins and I can finally exhale. I will be taking a vacation from politics for a while. But not long. Already gearing up for Mayor Julian Castro's campaign to beat Rick Perry in 2014 for Governor.

Arguably laughable at best, or just downright vile. Was channel surfing during commercial break of The Walking Dead, and on faux news they are comparing the gas rationing in one state due to a natural disaster to the gas shortages of the 70's. Obviously comparing Obama to Carter.

The scary thing is, expect to see this on the next round of chain emails & FB drivel.

I also believe that this wont end, come Tuesday night. It is goin to take a huge awakening in America to see what is being fed to them. I'm just afraid that they are either unable or unwilling to see it. Being a half glass full kinda guy, it does get draining.

Many on this side of the aisle openly talk about the chronic lying. Does it not occur to people who plan to vote for Romney that he is not lying to them as well? I truly do not get it.

Of course, some might say they don't care; they just don't want Obama....

The total lies and distortions that flow out of Romney's mouth are infuriating. Watching him tonight you can spot a clear tell he shifts just his eyes left then right and pauses for effect. Mussolini used to jut out his chin and strut with his hands on his hip he would soak in the adoration. Not speaking Italian or for that matter German (there are pictures of a certain Austrian practicing dramatic speech gestures) I would have a hard time detecting if this followed a lie. Romney is different he enjoys lies and smiles. I am not sure there has been anything in American politics quite like Mitt Romney maybe Aaron Burr but he gets off with no photographic record.

and it is frustrating how he just lies and the media lets him get away with it. and then they keep pushing the both sides crap, hype up any poll which claims he has the lead. any poll with obama in the lead is called tied.

I'm SO with you on this:
"I just hope after Nov 6th I never see Mitt or Ann Romney or any of the Romney kids ever again."

ME TOO!!!!!!!!! Can't wait til they're GONE. Back to Utah. Or Massachusetts. Or Michigan. Or La Jolla CA. Or whichever-the-hell state it is they're calling their home state this week.

I want it to be over. Obama winning. Elizabeth Warren, Sherrod Brown, Claire McCaskill, Tim Kaine, both Tammys - Duckworth and Baldwin, all the good guys with the "D" by their names - WINNING.

I want them all to go away and stop ruining my country!

i didnt buy a lot of the created "hair on fire" over the last month so i did not have a stress of possible loss.

but, i have told family, with the blatant lying and the voter suppression and the height in this election, i am totally disgusted that repugs are not calling it out, even if it is their aprty.

A certain percentage of the electorate will believe anything you tell them no matter how incredible it sounds. Because they want to believe it.

Not sure what causes this but it occurs often. Look at the number of people who believe we have been visited by spacecraft from outer space. Or ghosts. They want to believe these things exist because they want it to be true. Not because they have ever seen any credible
evidence of such things.

And don't even get me started on the existence of God.

These are the voters Romney is trying to attract.

... There's more bullshit within those ranks, and when it comes to election day, the same party people who "gather together for Obama's re-election" are ready to stick it to you on your own re-election next year.

It hasn't stopped for me since I got involved 4 years ago. I'm not complaining, I'm just adding my misery, cause it LIKES your company, LynneSin.

Let's do what we can, because we need to turn this in another direction before we're all run over by fascists. By the way, no one in a Democratic rally is willing to use the "f" word...
