I was walking up Powell St. by the cable car turnaround here in SF when I saw Jerry and his guard coming from the opposite direction. And as we passed I heard him say "this place is a dump".

But I hope it passes...there is no plan B.

Calif. schools need some support. They have suffered for tooooooooo long.

Every wealthy Californian effected by it donated to Brown's campaign. Whitman was financed by Whitman, and out-of-state phantoms. It'll cost him no political capitol, and, as per usual, all initiatives are decided the day of the election, when most voters open their ballots and read them for the first time. That was the sad story with Prop 8 four years ago (at least we beat that back with a big rubber..err..stick) but if I know my neighbors, this ones in the bag. The ads have been a great help as well. Brown got out in front of it, sat in a classroom on a desk, it couldn't have been more hokey if he had been tossing an apple up in the air and then recited the pledge of allegiance, but it worked. Let's just hope Assassin's Creed 3 doesn't hold down the youth vote.

not in it for any other reason than to serve the public and better the life of everyone

remember the bygone days when jerry ran his campaign for President with the 1-800 number,
which predated how the internet would become decade later. by the people, for the people.
