In District 45 race, Democrat Sue Crawford calls opponent's ad deceitful

Sue Crawford and the Sarpy County Democrats are taking issue with a campaign mailer sent to about 2,000 Bellevue addresses that gives Crawford's Republican opponent a key endorsement in a close legislative race.
“Sarpy County Democratic Chairman Burke Summers Has a Message for You,” reads the mailer in big letters. “Vote Richard Carter.”
The flip side features a quote from Summers and again identifies him as “Sarpy County Democratic Chairman.”
It does not say he is the “former” chairman, a post Summers last held in 2008. Two others have led the Sarpy County Democrats since then, and both would be identified as “chairwoman.”
