I...HAVE...A...GIANT...FUCKING...HEADACHE!!!!!!

I'm having trouble concentrating and breathing: my respiration is so shallow that I periodically yawn, not because I'm tired, but from lack of oxygen. The pit of my stomach feels like it did when I had a piano recital to play and had not practiced nearly enough. I feel as though I'm going to shake uncontrollably and possibly puke at any minute. I just want to go to sleep and awaken at 11:00 PM tomorrow night to the 'dulcet tones' of Brian Williams/Wolf Blitzer/Tweety exclaiming that Barack Hussein Obama is once again elected to the high office of President of the United States of America.

Jeez...how long is the next 30 hours going to take?

and have fioracet/serax/morphine & fioracet has caffeine (which makes me have violent thoughts/ideas), opioid tolerance makes morphine not work, I need a few days off them and thank gawd the serax (slow acting, long lasting like an ativan SR) work like a champ.

I choose today to quit smoking tobacco, that is sucking big time.

I think I am gonna pull the patch & get some smoke(s).

I wish I was in Cali or VT, I'd have the biggest script & garden I could imagine!!!

Oh yea I got hurt at 7 walkers, New Rider of The Purple Sage show which I can't remember.

7 walkers is Bill Kreutzmans Band, they sound like the Dead with Dr John on vocals well worth seeing, maybe this summer I will feel good enuff to camp & stuff.

Here is the 7 Walker show I almost died at.........

They have a world class lineup, Dave Nelson & Buddy Cage. The second guitarist Michael Falzarano, also plays with Hot Tuna & I saw an electric show in 83 I will never forget!! Electric Hot Tuna & Bobby & The Midnights rockin trippin good time.

Here is a little about the revived band http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Riders_of_the_Purple_Sage#NRPS_revival:_2005.E2.80.93present

ANd I use jambase to find shows http://www.jambase.com/Artists/27602/New-Riders-of-The-Purple-Sage

Lots of west coast shows coming up.

If ya live on the NE coast they have a festival called A Bears Picnic (williamsport, pa) every august & last time i was there it was JGB Band, NRPS 7 Walkers, David Gans & many others.

Also In Ohio there is nelson ledges quarry park, they have a Dead Weekend that is better than anything & these festivals are affordable. (watch out for lots of narcs here) http://www.nlqp.com/

Bears Picnic was $100 for thu-sun nite music & left monday AM.

Oh archive.org has a lot of NRPS shows some from 1970 some from last year & hundreds in between.
http://archive.org/details/NewRidersofthePurpleSage

If ya like NRPS check out the Little Feat & Jefferson Starship music on archive, Paul Kantner & Marty Balin still sound great.

Ok headache diminishing must give up PC..................

Vaping!

E-cigarettes have come a long way. You get to smoke without all the harmfull sde effects.

Look into it.

I switched to vaping three months ago still have the last open pack of cigarettes sitting on my desk. Never once wanted to touch them.

I can breathe again, I can smell again , I no longer smell like smoke.

I am so impressed by it I am opening a store selling E-cig supplies.

Seriously look into it if you are having trouble quitting.

A great place to get more info is http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/

The patch was pulled & I got a pack'o smokes but this is the last one.

I was worried sick last night, now just worried.

Nothing is going to be said at this point that will change the race. I'm going to do a self imposed media blackout and find some calm and pleasurable ways to spend the time instead. When the real numbers start to come in tomorrow night...then I will look.

I'll be watching DVDs. I can't stand news bafflegabbers on TV and I don't mind knowing until it's all over. I might check in just before I go to bed between 2 and 3 AM to find out who won the local races.

The shopping is done, cookies are baked, presents wrapped, and you have nothing more to do.

I'd say don't turn on the TV until at least after dinner. Go vote, then do something else. Walk the dog, pet the cat, contemplate nature.

Or after coffee. They help with the stomach.

Taking aspirin for headachiness.

I'm kinda sleep deprived due to jet lag from a previous trip and the time change on top of it. that just takes time to go away but this stuff doesn't help.

Eat chocolate?

Drink a glass of wine slowly. Have red wine with your dinner and eat slowly and meaningfully...

In the middle of my shift I looked at the clock and realized that 24 hours from then we would be hearing: &quot insert whatever cable channel here along with their election night theme music) can now call the Presidential race for Barack Obama...."

I purposely asked to NOT be scheduled for Tuesday or Wednesday this week so I could watch everything unfold all day/evening Tuesday and I sure as hell didn't want to have to go worry about "getting to bed" Tuesday night!

And now...after my marathon of working the last 5 days, I don't wanna go to sleep..I'm making a mental "need to get" list to get me thru the next 24 hours: comfort food, alcohol, cigarettes...heh, MORE comfort food/snacks!

are nervous nellies who have nothing to worry about. I wish I had that kind of cocky assurance. Don't they know know about Murphy's Law and how the Republicans will call in favors state by state and, of course, to the US Supreme Court, if it looks like they are losing?
