That is where most of my family lives, where I lived as a child, and where I spent a lot of my summers growing up. I loved that picture when I first saw it, and I have it saved to my computer since 2008. Great to see it again here at DU.

Used to build and install conveyors in grain elevators and feed mills. Later on I was a heavy equip mechanic. Finally moved to a desk job when I scored a gig at a tv station.

Those are a trip. You stand inside this open cage thing with handrails and push the pedal on the floor to go up and pull the rope to go down. Of course if you push the pedal all the way to the floor you can be a projectile through the roof,...which is always fun.
