(10,572 posts)Osmond, who like Romney is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, said she does not do politics.
No, I think Id rather have food poisoning. I dont do politics, thank you, but you can vote for me, she told TheDC after the Cherry Blossom Parade in Washington on April 14.

Donny added that he won't base his vote for president on religion.
As far as Mitts concerned, the jury is still out. Im still looking at both candidates. I like him but thats not because hes a Mormon, Donny says. We share ideals, but I think a person who can run this country the best should fill that seat. Not the person just because they share the same religion, that has nothing to do with running the Oval Office.

Alan Rickman is one of Obama's most vocal supporters. He attended a huge party in London to watch and celebrate the election four years ago. When asked what were his favorite words in the English language, his reply was, "Barack Obama".

This is a guy who fucks strippers and porn stars, and he's against women's rights??? That says something really sad about his character.
Apparently he objectifies women and doesn't want them to have any say over their reproductive rights.
Awesome.
Maybe he can pick his next wife from one of Romney's binders.

(12,530 posts)True, Neal Peart flirted with the writings of Ayn Rand...in the year of our lord 1977. But I've never heard of Rush, a Canadian band, advocating for any US candidates for office, and a quick search before posting doesn't reveal any obvious Rush advocacy of Romney or the GOP.

(53,035 posts)I found this:
The Wall Street Journal is reporting that the erstwhile George W. Bush fan has cast his lot with Barack Obama. Not only will the rapper win Obamas thanks, but hell also successfully avoid a backlash like the one faced by Nicki Minaj. Thats a win! Hes clearly thought things through very carefully:
Im going to vote for Obama, he said Tuesday. Some of the things Ive heard in passing from the Romney side make me want to vote for Obama. A couple pieces of [Romney's] speeches they left me out there a little bit, I wasnt sure which way things would actually go. Its not one specific thing.
50 Cent said his strong judge of character played a role in his decision to endorse President Obama.
Youve got to judge people, he said. After a while, you look and judge character. Being a good judge of character will determine how successful you are. If you misjudge your friends and friendship is the strongest form of relationship you will pay in a divorce.
Welp, looks like Romneys outta luck.
