My opinion is that if it takes longer than an hour to vote, then it is voter suppression.

If the ballot is long, people should have a copy of the ballot to study before they get to the voting booth. If the line is too long, there should be more machines or open spaces to vote. There are simple ways this problem could be fixed, if they wanted to fix it. It appears to be intentional and can be defined as nothing more than voter suppression. After the last two elections, the voters should not have to go thru this experience again. It makes our country look like Nicaragua or some third-world country in Africa. It simply is not acceptable.

After one hour the state should pay you minimum wage for your time. That might focus their attention on the matter.

and you know what? VOTE BY MAIL, two states do it, it increases participation and it eliminates a lot of this crap.

Oh wait, just gave the reasons why the GOP in it's current incarnation would never allow it. To be fair, Tamany Hall would not either.

where "victory vans" have taken votes and shreeeded them. Also, the forgeries and fraud would go through to roofs as "baloteras" would go to hosptials and rest homes and forge, like they do in forida.
