Slicing and dicing 538's 300 EVs

Looking at Nate Silver's electoral college map, I see that Obama is predicted to win exactly 25 states. Among those states are OH and CO. Silver gives FL to Romney. It turns out that Obama can get to 273 without any of these 3 swing states. That likely explains why Nate is especially confident at this point.
