not inside the polling place but outside; answering questions about i.ds and helping with provisional ballot issues. From 5:30 a.m. to 7p.m. Have to do 'homework' on my job now, and get to sleep, but kind of pumped!

I have been working a staging area & he at the polls.. same tomorrow... What smart, wonderful, hardworking people we have in our Party... Love all the new people we have met. They really care about their fellow human beings, the earth and all living creatures.

No worries on Ohio. The Obama organization in Ohio is awesome.

...and just tonight put out our candidates' signs at polling locations. We get tomorrow off!

I have a dentist appointment that I a) can't miss and b) can't reschedule within three weeks at 12:15. (badly chipped a filling. Sigh.) So I'm out of action for the rest of the day. (Novacaine makes me very shaky, anxious and spacey. Plus a numb mouth means I'll be too mushy to even make phone calls.)

I voted last week.

Today we did the doors...tomorrow will be here feeding volunteers, etc. My husband will be picking up people who need rides to the polls. We have met the most amazing people through this campaign. It is wonderful to be a Democrat.

I have a big ol Dodge passenger van that will haul about 10 at a time, making a couple of runs with folks from my neighborhood tomorrow.

Thankfully a kind soul will pay for the gas to run it all day. Several people from church are taking shifts to drive it. I have to work but I'll gladly donate the wear on the old van rather than have it sit idle all day.

Hubby is working the polls five a.m. to closing.
