Why would he come back here? This isn't "his state." It never was. He bought the governorship and was mocked and derided for his one lousy term. The legislature rode him like a rented mule. He was a laughingstock.

Bill Bain did not put Romney in charge of Bain Capital because he has a kind and gentle way of restructuring companies. He was put there because Romney has no moral compass and can destroy people's lives without mercy. In five years expect Tech Sergeant Reese to scream at Sarah Connor, "Mitt Romney has no pity or remorse. He can't be reasoned with. He can't be bargained with. And he will not stop until you are dead." (Come to think of it...maybe he really is a Terminator.)
