Why we need Obama...and Why he needs us.

I have been an Obama supporter since the day he announced his run. Never once have I lost faith in the man.Ever!
I came home from work every night in 2007-2008 and got on my computer to read about the news and watch any and all of Obama's speeches.I also kept track of what the McCain campaign was saying. I watched everything!
I was enthralled.
The man simply amazed me. He spoke to my heart and soul. He made me weep for my country and its fate. He gave me hope, he gave me joy and he gave me a sense of peace. He did this for all of us. I knew in my heart that he would win! Yes we can! He did!
Only a few weeks after the election...blogs that I read started trashing him. The ones that had supported him for the campaign. No, not DU, I wasn't here then. One who I will not name starting going after him about not addressing the gay rights issue!
This President came into office with a far worse economic collapse than we knew, far worse than he had been told...I have read that we were about to go into a great depression!
I am asking for a call to arms after we elect President Obama for a second term. I am asking that each and everyone of us stands at his side through the next four years. Stand with him, with the same passion that you show here today for his election. Do not let the passion die.He is but one man. We must stand beside him over the next four years!
Our President needs us as we need him!
