1. Does Fitrakis have standing?

i.e., is he an Ohio voter?

I haven't been keeping up on this, but my understanding is, the plaintiff has to have a personal stake in a matter to successfully sue. I think, in this case, it would be rationally interpreted as him being a registered Ohio voter.

Bob Fitrakis started the Ohio Free Press in 1993.
He's the Executive Director of the Columbus Institute for Contemporary Journalism
he has run for Governor of Ohio

check his wikepedia.... he's widely known as a respected liberal lawyer and investigative journalist from Ohio.

Bob is a smart lawyer. He knows EXACTLY what he's doing. He would not file this suit without all the t's crossed and i's dotted.

So to answer your question, yes.

here's hoping he can get some kind of preliminary injunctive relief - kind of short notice though, it'll be tricky.
