The accomplishment within the first two years is unbelievable. It's idiotic for anyone to claim that he hasn't done anything in the past four years.

7. It's the DNC that should have been shoving this in America's face -- not Rachel.

She doesn't reach anybody except people like us anyway - the Dems needed to get this stuff our there.

8. sure, I agree. But what vehicle do they use if not media/tv/pundits/etc.,

social media is making a huge difference no doubt but I think it's the traditional tv media that still has a lot of influence/audience.

the dems can say whatever they want, but if it goes into a barrel instead of on air, what's the point?

so the question remains, are the dems too lazy to appear on these shows, do they not want to participate or is it that they just don't get invited and called to opine? (there are always way way more pugs on these things than dems, I think there was a graph around DU a few weeks ago that shows exactly how lobsided the representation by party is).

So yeah, if Rachel and those guys are supposed to be the antidote to the Fox and CNN, yeah, they should have better messaging that supports the Democrats. But they don't. Their messaging is to support themselves and their fabricated cage matches so their bossmasters at MSNBC can make more money from political ads. And it's all done with nuance and 'understandings'. I don't think any of those are actually directed to do these things, but they know the score and where the line is drawn.
