Has anyone ever done this? I thought it was traditional to do your voting booth photo-op (forgone by Obama this year to set an example early voting) and then go chill out with your supporters and await returns.
Doesn't it seem kind of desperate?

(260 posts)BOSTON (AP): NOVEMBER 7, 2012 Mitt Romney has announced this morning he will hold rallies on Wednesday in Iowa and Pennsylvania. Though he lost both yesterday on election day by margings of 8 and 7 respectively, a campaign spokesman said he's not giving up on the states. "We saw a lot of movement towards the end of the night on Tuesday our way as the western part of Pennyslvania came in. We're encourage and think we can carry Pennsylvania." Similarly the campaign spokesman said, though they lost Iowa, there was a lot of potential there for Romney and thus the decision to hold a rally there on Wednesday. "We really think things are breaking our way." A win in either could tip the election back to Romney despite the loss on Tuesday.
Dick Morris of FOX News Channel stated today on the network this was a great decision by Romney and now foresaw a reversal of the 5 point national loss on Tuesday into a potential Romney landslide. He said he thinks they should consider more rallies on Thursday. A campaign spokesman said those decisions have yet to be made.
