(4,096 posts)Tomorrow, I think, will be a different matter (and the fact that I had today, and will have, tomorrow off from work will help), but right now... Christ, I just can't get into bed.

(58,911 posts)Here we are on election eve. Everything looks good. We're up in the polls, Romney is acting desperate and the Republican pundits on CNN have long faces. I want to keep this feeling as long as possible before we go once more into the breach tomorrow. But I can't stop the clock and the first polls open in 4 hours. God give me strength.

I know it's not actually helping, but I KNOW it's the only thing that helps haha

(1,040 posts)Still awake here in Kansas. Unfortunately we're not a swing state, and will probably not go the way I want. However, I cast my early ballot for our President and my husband took the day off and will be voting in the morning. Looking forward to a victory celebration tomorrow night!!!

(9,974 posts)Granted I just got off of work at midnight and usually have to unwind for a few hours before going to bed...but, tonight even after unwinding from work, I am wound UP for tomorrow...er, TODAY, I mean.
I don't know what the hell I think I will MISS by going to sleep right now but in the back of my mind I am going "well...I think the cable channels are probably starting their live shows at 6 am, right? That's just a few hours from now..."

(5,141 posts)I get up every morning at 5:30 and usually am snoring by 10pm. I'm lucky if I got an hour's sleep. Tomorrow is going to be huge for me; going to my lawyer's to sign a bunch of documents to get my business up and running (after 2 years of planning!) and then off to vote!

(47,558 posts)Spent the last couple of hours emailing voting guides to family members. These are the ones who put off reading about the propositions until the last second, gawd love 'em.
Anyway, I've done what I can do and I'm going to bed.
Nighty-night, kids.
