I have not been silent on my page, nor have I been rabid. When I see something of interest I might post it, however I concentrate on labor stories and alike.

my romney friends write. Funny though, so many pro gay marriage posts and no anti. but the stupid Benghazi posts are pretty frequent.

I have just kept my political rants off fb but if someone pisses me off enough I chime in but I will be doing this! Thanks

Just for my political rants. As i too was losing friends with my constant raving. Like the smiley face and will probably do the same. Anyone wishing to join me in my post election activity (pushing for the change we want) can do so. Group is called "And from the Left" Drop me a pm if need be.

because I can't take the rabid RW family and friend posts (those that are, many are not) anymore and I'm not going to let them go unchallenged anymore, especially when they post that shit on MY timeline and not just on theirs. I"ve especially been unable to get through to my wingnut stepsister who will, no doubt, be on the hook financially for her father's nursing home bills each month due to their state's "filial responsibility" laws which require children to be financially responsible for the care of their parents.

Since Medicaid pays for the bulk of his monthly bill after my mother gives up most of their monthly income for her share, and since, if repubs win and block grant Medicaid to the states the states will no longer be bound by federal law prohibiting the enforcement of filial responsibilty laws in regards to Medicaid, she and her even more wingnut hubby can look forward to turning over their fancy house and other assets, as well as a portion of their income each month, for his care.

They hate taxes and government, but how the fuck do they think her father's bills are being paid and he's being taken care of each month? And they don't care, either, that a win for Romney will mean even greater economic hardship for my mother should he go through with his plans for Medicaid. Then again, they don't do shit for her financially or emotionally or practically, either. So fuck being nice politically anymore, I've had it.

Most of them are so politically ignorant, it is not worth wasting my time attempting to point out the truth. They never believe me. They only believe the propaganda they get from Faux News, Beck, and Limbaugh.

I have unfriended three, and two have unfriended me. That was enough for me.

I have chosen to not take them on, but to make this simple statement tonight. Should any of them react nastily in some way, I will respond.

My goal is to let them know I am happy and that nothing they say can ever change my mind.
