(9,893 posts)from someone who has lived in CT, NYC and NJ.
In Connecticut, I lived for a while near Long Island Sound in Milford. The pictures of my old neighborhood flooded were heart-wrenching.
In NYC, I lived on E. 33rd near Bellevue Hospital. Need I say more?
In NJ, I lived 2-3 miles north of Hoboken on the Palisades, which tower above the Hudson River, but I had friends who owned a townhouse in Hoboken.
Really, you have an understanding friend here in MD.

(10,201 posts)We have been going around the clock here since last Monday.
It's never fun bathing in the mens room at the office, but hey, my co-workers appriciate it.
We have power back up in 90% of our locations, 5 of which are still on generator. With the odd/even rule in effect it is getting easier to get gas. The terminals are slowly coming back online and more and more fuel is getting delivered.
