We will have defeated the best they could throw at us.

We will have defeated Romney, Citizens United, the Koch Brothers, the 1%'s millions, the Chamber of Commerce, Rove's super PACS, Fox, Rush, Hanity, the tea party, voter suppression, voter ID, True the Vote, freepers, trolls you name it.

The people will do this today.

Citizens United will still be around for 2014, 2016 and beyond unless something is done about it.

The Dark Money people will go to school on this one win or lose, look at their mistakes, and learn from them. They will be better at it next time.

Unless something is done about it.

Every Republican I know is between 35-65. They'll be around for a while.

10 full House races between now and then.

10 1/3 of the Senate races between now and then.

5 presidential elections between now and then.

Probably as many as five new Supreme Court nominees between now and then.

Thousands of state and local races between now and then.

Demographic changes do not happen overnight...and we've seen how easy it is for a well-funded minority to take over a government and rewrite the laws in their favor. (See: GW Bush)

Citizens United has to go, soon, period.

I'd be feeling a lot less optimistic about the outcome of the election if the Republicans had had the sense to nominate Jon Huntsman instead of Romney. And when it comes to Romney in no small part he'll have defeated himself. "Corporations are people!" "Bet you $10,000!" "47%!"
