They started to get really annoying yesterday. Not that they haven't been annoying before that. But yesterday they were really amping up the fear, paranoia, urgency, worry.

The kids are off school today for a teacher work day and also to allow the teachers to go vote. So I doubt I'll be by the teevee much today anyway.

8. Matt Lauer was lamer than usual (if that's possible) while trying to get Ed Gillespie to cop to Jeep

to China lie. Duh. What a useless lump of nothing Lauer is, and Gillespie insisted that the ad "was the truth". What a POS, as is everyone in the Romney Campaign, from the top of the ticket right on down. Of course, Lauer dropped it like a hot potato as soon as Gillespie insisted it wasn't a lie. If it wasn't a lie, Ed, how come I actually saw your nose growing as you were speaking?!?

12. Uh, yeah, and IF it was a lie, why would the automobile company execs speak out

and say the ad was FALSE? It seems to me that if people listening to that drivel had half a brain, they would ask themselves the same question. These people KNOW what is going on in their own companies and they know WHY things turned around for them so it is certainly in their best interest to correct any inaccuracies being floated by the Republican Party. Ask the people on the Jeep assembly lines how they feel about this ad. They just might have a different perspective, too.

And from what I've seen, those shows have seemed to damage a lot of brains around here.

Those are my plans for the day.

That, and texting in to DU. Best way for us to keep our sanity and get ready for the big party tonight!
