online registration territory. Washington State added registration via Facebook this year, one up on both neighbors to the South...

Agh. I woke up at 5:30, showered, dressed, and was prepared to skedaddle over to my polling place (about 50 feet away from my front door). I'm used to voting in the dark at 6 AM in Illinois. Glad I checked the times on a last minute whim.

I miss voting in the cold, dark morning, with sleepy judges just sipping down their first coffees of the day as they blearily search for names and signatures. It's kind of a ritual =)
