Ryan's Congressional race... Anyone have insight (Original Post) WheelWalker Nov 2012 OP
No - just hope he loses, of course. I keep forgetting that he was even still running for that. codjh9 Nov 2012 #1
That would be the situation I'm wondering about. Assuming we can take Wisconsin, I think WheelWalker Nov 2012 #3

Was that an admission that they probably wouldn't win P/VP? :^)

there's a possibility he's out of a job; but that conclusion is without any basis. Just my wild-ass guess?

He won last time by more than 2:1. He's not going anywhere.

Hopefully, that includes Number One Observatory Circle.

The DNC actually gave their candidate, Rob Zerban, a lot of support. They never reallybothered with that district before. They saw Ryan as vulnerable.

Ryan's district leans Republican, but it is a swing. Went for Obama in 2008, though the lines were drawn a bit more red recently. Anything can happen here, but I expect Ryan to win. Presidential and Senate results here will be a big factor too.
