there's a possibility he's out of a job; but that conclusion is without any basis. Just my wild-ass guess?

He won last time by more than 2:1. He's not going anywhere.
Hopefully, that includes Number One Observatory Circle.

The DNC actually gave their candidate, Rob Zerban, a lot of support. They never reallybothered with that district before. They saw Ryan as vulnerable.
Ryan's district leans Republican, but it is a swing. Went for Obama in 2008, though the lines were drawn a bit more red recently. Anything can happen here, but I expect Ryan to win. Presidential and Senate results here will be a big factor too.
