Was asked for "voluntary" voter ID in PA. Everyone in line ahead of me complied.

I politely declined. Republican poll watcher informed it will be probably required next time.

I said "and we'll fight that".

I then went and touched a computer screen that swore I voted. Whether my "vote" will be counted is anyone's guess.

Win some, lose some.

If you don't trust the PC Voting, try absentee by mail.

Maybe it has a better chance of being counted.

it seems that the worst of the Teahadii/(R)-corporate are running the place now. My Republican friends in rural VA, while delusional and racist, aren't (for the most part) clinically insane regarding politics. They're old white people afraid of the wave of brown people coming their way. In a way, I get that. I've known a lot of really old white people in my years.

I've been met with skepticism here for befriending those Republicans, but if I don't attempt to educate them, who will?

I think the courts backed down this year because of the chaos that could well have ensued - especially among older/poorer voters.

The people who are dismantling democracy are nothing if not patient.
