My voting experience.

Our ballots arrived in the mail a month ago. After putting the kid to bed, I sat on my fat ass, opened a bottle of San Francisco's finest Anchor Stream beer and filled out my ballot. I stuffed said ballot into the envelope, took another swig of beer, walked 10 steps down the street and dropped it into the mailbox. We have it so tough in California.

...and voted immediately. Most of the booths were occupied but I didn't have to wait at all.

When I saw on TV the long lines just for early voting, I knew it was not going to be much different today. I went online printed out an application for an absentee ballot. It came in the mail a few days later. I filled it out, drove down the street and dropped it in the mail.

I am glad I voted by absentee ballot. The lines are long and it has been rainy and cold.

But if it was, the righties wouldn't have any fun obstructing the will of Americans.

I spent my voting morning studying the propositions over good coffee, called the local Dem headquarters for advice, and when I was satisfied that my judgment was in sync with the party, I put the ballot in the envelope and dropped it off at the post office on my way to town.

A week later I called the County Recorder's office, and got confirmation that my ballot had been received and accepted.

IMO, voting by mail should be nationalized and made totally uniform. It's awesome.
