Sounds like a Repug trick....because the Repug candidate fears one, or both, of the independents.

They pulled a similar stunt in TN Senate race in our primary. Slid a Teabagger in as the Dem candidate by making sure he was listed first on the ballot (alphabetically). He won because we had so many Dems running in the Primary against Corker & little campaigning or ads. Come to find out, he is basically a teabagger & only has one sign, in his truck. Has spent under $300 on the election. The Dem party has disavowed him. I noticed on my ballot that ALL candidates in ALL races had the Repug candidate listed first. It was the same in the 3 counties I previewed the ballots before voting. I suspect it is like this all over the state. It was also noticed by some other voters who were in line w/me the day we voted early. I think these kinds of slimy tactics will backfire in the long run. People are waking up to how these goons really operate.

They will do anything to win! Laws & morals mean nothing in their world; they just use them as a false front to lure the uneducated voter. Nice try w/Al Gore....sounds remarkably Rovian. If they spent as much time on trying to help the nation instead of thinking up sleazy ways to undermine the process, we might actually be a beacon again.

I've seen his website. If I hadn't seen the D in front of his name I would have thought he was a Republican.

You can see that he is obviously a Teabagger. There are more avowed Repugs who are more Dem than he is. Such an embarrassment for our state. But they can't take any chances of Corker loosing; he is a loyal water-carrier for them. And then there is the situation w/the Ohio 2004 vote going thru servers in the basement of a bank in Chattanooga (Corker's hometown, & mine.) He must be rewarded....

was elected by Republicans who crossed over to poison the Democrats' chances. I don't think he's a teabagger, but he is so old. From what I read about him, he might have made a decent candidate if he was 30 to 40 years younger.

The other day I looked at the results for the Senate in my local paper and took notice.
