PA Voting Question

Just got back from voting on my lunch break. I've been voting in the same place for 20 years now, have never been asked for ID.

Today, I was asked. I handed the guy my ID as I said, "You know you can't demand that I give it to you, right?"

He said he had to ask. I said no.

The official looking lady sitting there said, "We HAVE to ask you. You can decline, but we HAVE to ask you."

I shook my head. "No one needs to show you ID unless they are a first time voter."

With that, I hauled ass into the booth and pushed the straight DEM button, hit vote and then rolled out.

My community is HARD CORE rethug. Wonder how many people they pulled the "we need to see that you have ID" shit on today.

Question is, should I report it, or leave well enough alone?

If I'm not mistaken, Delaware County isn't the Main Line, so they

shouldn't be millionaires or even anywhere close to that. What are

the demographics?...Dumbass middle to lower middle class people

who watch Fox News?

I don't hate rich people..We've had a couple of good democratic presidents who were very rich.

I don't like the greedy, selfish "all for me, nothing for you" type however.

These assholes erect the ENORMOUS Romney signs in their yards, and many of them have cars literally plastered with Romney signs.

but do they have to ask you for ID... that's the issue. Why would they have to ask if you don't need it? Not logical.

If you don't need it, WHY ASK?

I wish I'd said I didn't have ID just to see what they would have done.

The point? To get you used to the idea. It's the old Boiling Frog syndrome: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boiling_frog
