But I doubt you'll go to jail or anything awful like that if you're caught. They may just take your phone until you're done voting.

(7,724 posts)so I could if I wanted to. I didn't, and really had not intended to, but I know some are doing it when the machine flips their vote.
I basically wanted to know if it was an issue to worry about, and it looks like it's not.

(5,857 posts)is meant to keep your ballot secret. It prevents your boss, spouse, preacher, church, union, etc. from requiring you to show a completed ballot.
