(16,230 posts)and part of me is angry that the proper resources aren't provided to prevent such long lines. Many people will have to go to work, watch their children, or whatever, and won't bother to vote because of the long wait.
I know I saw at least one man leave when I voted this morning. He said he'd come back later. How many people like that decide not to bother coming back at all?

(133 posts)Why is our state so much better? Public workers have the day off. I voted in person at 7:00 a.m.- took 15 minutes. Why do people in these other states put up with it? Do they think what they're going through is normal? It's not! They ought to protest the long lines instead of seeming so complacent!

(16,230 posts)They know it's being done to suppress them so they plan on it and stay there no matter how long it takes. It becomes a matter of pride and resistance. But they shouldn't have to do this.
Now that there is photographic evidence of dysfunction, i'd like to see them holding signs of protest

(15,189 posts)Lines like those. We should have a month to vote in EVERY state 24/7, at government buildings.
