After re-election today, the President should fire every drug warrior in his administration tomorrow

and end the Justice Department's war on pot once and for all. But... I'm guessing he won't.

The POTUS has been working his ass off for us since day one and he deserves a break.

And while I am talking about the drug war in general, I am speaking specifically if the concerted effort by the administration to federally go after marijuana in situations where the actions are legal under state law.

will come from the grass roots up, excuse the pun.. Just like gay marriage, pressure from the people, from the states.

But he can certainly set the priorities for the Justice Department and the DEA. Hell just having the DEA reclassify marijuana to Schedule II would be a huge step.

I think he is capable of giving us many more pleasant surprises this next term.

Remember, he is a good and decent man and I believe he will do what he thinks is right in as many places as he can.
