I just got home from canvassing my town for the GOTV effort

I had a couple of nice surprises from voters who not only intended to vote for Obama, but also they told me they'd pass the message on to their friends.

There were a couple of other surprises along the way, too. One woman I spoke to told me she couldn't vote because she wasn't registered. She put it off and put it off until it was too late for her to register. She told me her mother laced it into her for not registering (wtg, Mom). I suggested to her that come next year, she ought to register to make sure she can vote Corbutt out, if he's not already impeached.
The one bright spot: her boyfriend will get the message from her to vote when he gets home from work.

Another guy had Robme signs outside his yard and deer walking around in it. The buck was going to ram my car (where was a gun when I needed one? ).
