And that right there sums it up. Dozens of empty machines and no lines in rich areas and 7 hour waits for the poor. And don't forget, many of those people took a day off of work to vote so they pay, basically, for the right to vote.
Sickens me we have allowed our Democracy to become such a diseased government.
Nationwide Voting Reform should be the number one issue in this country. If we had that we'd have a more honest government that would be for the people again. I hope that Obama will aggressively seek this out in his last term.

(978 posts)They probably cleared out the place. I imagine they didn't want to take a chance of someone heckling Mitt and Ann.
I live near DC and sometimes when I go downtown they empty and check places before Obama arrives.
