it doesnt rain as much.

BUT if i get a texan out of texas, i have done good, and shows how much he loves me, lol. so i will take colorado.

definitely not. Colo. Springs is mega-Red, for example.

of a Blue state (NM). But hope to move to a blue part of a blue state, whether here or Oregon or ?? ... a bit later.

Left the Bible belt in red Georgia at age 22 and moved to the very LIBERAL NW --- been here 25 years and never looked back

Miss grits and fireflies - that's about it!

I do have to admit I have a fondness for New Mexico but i haven't been there in years and my memories may be a little too rosy.

10. I live in a blue state and just became an empty nester this year.

My son moved to a different state for graduate research and has his own place in a blue state. I am staying to look after my mom but have considered moving one day. I can't imagine moving to a red state. New Jersey is losing blue people in the droves so don't move here and it is too expensive to move to if you are planning to retire.

No offense but I do know I will not be moving to Florida.
