in parts of Ventura Co. Con Ed said 'it was a planned outage'. No one I spoke to knew about it. It didn't affect voting from what I was told, other than people were delayed going to work, going to vote etc. It didn't return until 5.00 PM.

A lot of outrage where I live being it was election day and who schedules power outages for election day?

In my district a Repub has held the Congressional seat for 25 years. I haven't seen any results from that race so far, but really hoping for a win for Democrats here. I have to admit a lot of people here were very upset over the outage and I hope it did not interfere with anyone voting.

to that area. But it is in the district that had an open seat which had been occupied for 25 years by a Republican. Who plans a power outage for election day?
